Yogyakarta — Mobee hosted an educational seminar titled "Zero to Crypto: Blockchain as Modern Financial System Infrastructure" at the Faculty of Engineering, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), in collaboration with the UGM Blockchain Club and the CryptoIndo Jogja community, and supported by Tether.

The seminar highlighted the shift in blockchain's role from merely a speculative investment instrument to a crucial infrastructure layer in modern financial systems, delving into technologies such as distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, and smart contracts, which are increasingly integrated into the national financial architecture.

Three speakers discussed the digital ecosystem from various perspectives. Febi Mettasari, Co-Founder of PIVY, presented the evolution of blockchain usage, which now extends to stablecoins and Real-World Assets (RWA). Fayza Nur M from the Indonesian Blockchain Association (ABI) explained the importance of governance in maintaining the stability of the digital asset ecosystem in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Rifta Titania from Mobee's Compliance department emphasized that transparency and strict oversight through KYC/AML protocols are key for the system to gain public and institutional trust.

"This event awakened students' awareness that blockchain is not merely a speculative asset, but a crucial foundation for future financial infrastructure. Activities like this encourage the younger generation to understand and contribute to the development of this strategic technology," said Ir. Noor Akhmad Setiawan, Advisor to the UGM Blockchain Club.

Through this initiative, Mobee positions itself as a bridge connecting traditional financial systems with the digital ecosystem, which is legal, transparent, and under the supervision of the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
