Legal Manager

We are seeking a Legal Manager to oversee legal and regulatory matters for our cryptocurrency exchange. This role involves providing legal guidance on compliance, corporate governance, contracts, and risk management while ensuring adherence to evolving crypto regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial or technology law, with experience in crypto, fintech, or blockchain industries.

Job Description

• Regulatory Compliance & Licensing

  • Monitor global and local cryptocurrency laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • Assist in obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses and registrations in various jurisdictions.
  • Liaise with financial regulators, legal authorities, and compliance bodies.
  • Develop and implement internal policies to comply with AML, KYC, and other financial regulations.

  Contract Management & Corporate Governance

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including partnerships, vendor agreements, and technology service contracts.
  • Provide legal support for corporate structuring, M&A activities, and investment initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and advise the executive team on legal risks.

  Risk Management & Dispute Resolution

  • Identify and mitigate potential legal and regulatory risks associated with crypto trading operations.
  • Manage legal disputes, litigation, and enforcement actions.
  • Work with external legal counsel when necessary to handle complex legal matters.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor degree of Law; Experience in fintech/crypto law are a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in fintech, crypto, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency laws, financial regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience handling regulatory inquiries and working with financial authorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving regulations.
• Excellent contract negotiation, drafting, and legal analysis skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
