What documents are required to transfer inherited assets?
Applicants must prepare the following documents:
- Death Certificate of the Account Owner:
Original document issued by the competent authority or a notarized and legalized copy.
- Identification of the Account Owner and the Applicant:
Copy of National ID (KTP), notarized. For foreign applicants, a notarized passport is required.
- Family Card (Kartu Keluarga)
Must list the names of the Account Owner and the Applicant (original or notarized copy). For foreign applicants, this can be replaced with an official document such as a Birth Certificate.
- Family Confirmation Letter
Signed by all family members listed in the Family Card and notarized. Must state their consent to transfer the assets to the Applicant.
- Heir’s Letter or Certificate of Heir
Issued by the local District or Sub-district office.
- Power of Attorney from the Heirs
All heirs listed in the Heir’s Letter or Certificate must authorize the Applicant to receive the inherited assets.
- Power of Attorney from the Applicant to Mobee

Online Appointment

- The session will be scheduled via Google Meet.

Does the Applicant need to have a Mobee account?
Yes. The Applicant must have a Mobee account. The account can be created independently via the Mobee app or directly at the office during the document submission process.
Can inherited assets be withdrawn directly to another exchange?
No, inherited assets cannot be transferred directly to another exchange. Once moved into the Applicant’s account, Mobee can assist in transferring assets to another exchange or a bank account.
Can the original owner’s account still be used?
No. The original account will be permanently closed because the account holder has passed away.
