DEBIT is the utility token for Debit AI, a conversational AI agent that converts natural-language requests into on-chain transactions such as swaps, bridging, and loans. The token is used to pay for AI agent usage, while staking DEBIT unlocks 10-50% transaction discounts and governance voting rights. Its underlying protocol, Teller, is a fixed-term crypto lending platform with no liquidation risk or margin calls that has operated since 2019 across five chains separate from the chain DEBIT trades on (BNB Chain). On September 5, 2026, Teller expanded its collateral list by adding EGG, MarsCoin, and Basecat, bringing total supported collateral to 100 assets across nine chains.
The main risk is extremely high supply concentration: only 17.22 million of the 100 million total tokens (17.22%) are in circulation, giving a market-cap-to-FDV ratio of only about 0.17, with roughly 83% of supply potentially releasable without a clearly published schedule. In addition, the sharp 117% single-day surge on September 13, 2026 has no official explanation from the team or project blog, making near-term direction hard to predict and prone to sudden profit-taking. Investors are advised to limit position size given the combined dilution and unexplained-volatility risk.
