Ethereum is extending the strong momentum that has been building over the past week, up roughly 9.6 percent in 7 days and now trading near the top of its 24-hour range. The 14-day RSI sits at 68, nearing overbought territory, while MACD and all major moving averages (MA20 $2,735, MA50 $2,663, MA100 $2,620, MA200 $2,540) still give buy signals. Sentiment is also supported by development progress: a Glamsterdam upgrade rehearsal on the Sepolia testnet is scheduled for October 6, 2026. The $2,731 (Rp48,807,770) entry is taken as the midpoint of two independent market data sources ($2,726.52 and $2,735.32), both accessed Sep 22, 2026, with a sub-0.3 percent spread. Because the momentum has already run fairly far and RSI is nearing overbought, targets are set conservatively: the first target is $2,799 (Rp50,024,130), about 2.5 percent above entry, within 3 days, near the resistance at the top of the current 24-hour range. The second target is $2,868 (Rp51,251,160), around 5 percent above entry, if momentum continues.
RSI nearing overbought opens the risk of a short-term pullback, especially since part of the rally comes from short-term sentiment that can reverse easily. This scenario is void if price breaks below the 50-day moving average at $2,663 (Rp47,594,410).
