HYPE has surged to a new weekly high, up roughly 16-24% depending on the measurement window, boosted by the September 18 launch of an on-chain lending feature that lets users borrow stablecoins against HYPE or Bitcoin collateral - the feature attracted around $269 million in assets within its first 24 hours. Sentiment is also lifted by a plan from a regulated US futures exchange’s parent company to list HYPE futures contracts, potentially opening access for US institutional traders. Monthly active addresses hit a record 291,900, while only around 26% of the maximum token supply is currently circulating - this combination of strong demand and limited supply is amplifying the price move. The current price sits around $96.25 (Rp1,718,062), taken from the midpoint of two independent market data sources showing a spread of under 0.1% ($96.24 and $96.26). With entry in that area, a first target of $99.14 (Rp1,769,649), about 3.0% from entry, and a second target of $102.03 (Rp1,821,236), about 6.0% from entry, look achievable.
Part of the rally is being driven by short-term sentiment and broad crypto speculation, making it vulnerable to a sharp correction if market sentiment reverses or large-scale profit-taking occurs. This scenario is invalidated if price breaks below $92 (Rp1,642,200), near the short-term support level.
