To quickly and easily top up your Mobee balance, using an e-wallet is a great option! This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to deposit Rupiah into the Mobee app using various popular e-wallets. Follow the complete tutorial below!

Step 1: Select the Deposit Menu

Tap the Deposit button located at the top of the Mobee home screen.

Step 2: Select "Deposit via E-Wallet"

Tap on the "Deposit via E-Wallet" option to proceed. E-wallet deposits are free of charge.

Step 3: Choose the E-Wallet You Want to Use

Select the e-wallet service you wish to use. Mobee currently supports:

  • OVO.
  • GoPay.
  • ShopeePay.

Step 4: Enter the Deposit Amount

Enter the amount of Rupiah you want to deposit. Make sure the phone number registered with Mobee matches the one linked to your chosen e-wallet.

After entering the amount, tap “Deposit”, then follow the instructions based on your e-wallet:

1. OVO

  • Tap “Deposit” → Select e-Wallet → Choose OVO.
  • Enter the amount → Tap “Deposit”, then “Confirm Deposit”.
  • Approve the payment via the OVO notification.
  • Enter your OVO PIN to complete the transaction.

2. ShopeePay

  • Tap “Deposit” → Select e-Wallet → Choose ShopeePay.
  • Enter the amount → Tap “Deposit”, then “Confirm Deposit”.
  • You will be redirected to the Shopee/ShopeePay app.
  • Complete the payment → Tap “Back to Merchant” to return to Mobee.
  • Your balance will be updated automatically once the deposit is successful.

Note: The deposit must be completed within 30 minutes. If it expires, tap “Resend” to try again.

3. GoPay

  • Tap “Deposit” → Select e-Wallet → Choose GoPay.
  • Enter the amount → Tap “Deposit”, then “Confirm Deposit”.
  • You will be redirected to the Gojek/GoPay app.
  • Complete the payment → Tap “Back to Merchant” to return to Mobee.
  • Your balance will be updated automatically once the deposit is successful.

Note: The deposit must be completed within 30 minutes. If it expires, tap “Resend” to try again.

Step 5: Confirm the Transaction

Review the transaction details you’ve entered, including the amount and selected e-wallet. When you have reviewed everything and confirmed that it is accurate, click the “Confirm Deposit” button to finalize the process.

If the Payment Fails

If your transaction via OVO, GoPay, or ShopeePay fails:

  • Check the transaction status in your e-wallet app.
  • If funds have been deducted but not reflected in Mobee, contact Customer Support and provide a screenshot of the transaction.
