How to Deposit Rupiah from Bank Account

Depositing Rupiah is the first step before buying and selling your chosen crypto assets. Follow the guide below to deposit Rupiah via Bank in the Mobee app.

Step 1: Select the Deposit Menu

Tap the Deposit button located at the top of the Mobee app home screen.

Step 2: Select "Deposit via Bank"

Rupiah deposits can be made via manual transfer to BCA or Virtual Account (VA) from Bank Sampoerna, CIMB, and Permata. Tap the “Deposit by Bank” menu.

Step 3: Choose Your Bank

You will be directed to a page listing available banks for Mobee deposits.

  • If you're using Bank BCA, select the BCA (manual transfer) option.
  • If you're using Bank Sampoerna, CIMB, or Permata, select the corresponding Virtual Account option.

Step 4: Enter the Deposit Amount

Enter the amount of Rupiah you wish to deposit. The minimum deposit via bank transfer is Rp50,000. Then tap the “Deposit” button.

Step 5: Copy the Bank Account or Virtual Account Number

At this stage, make sure you send the exact amount shown.

  • For BCA, copy the bank account number and make sure to include the 3-digit unique code at the end of the amount when transferring.
  • For Bank Sampoerna, CIMB Niaga, and Permata, copy the Virtual Account (VA) number and continue the transfer via e-banking, mobile banking, or ATM.

Note: Your bank may apply a standard transfer fee.

Example Guide for CIMB Niaga Transfers:

Via OCTO Mobile:

  1. Open the OCTO app, then select the Transfer menu.
  2. Select Other CIMB Niaga Account, then choose the source account.
  3. Enter the copied VA number.
  4. Input the deposit amount.
  5. Enter your OCTO Mobile PIN.
  6. Save the confirmation screen as your payment proof.

Via CIMB Niaga ATM:

  1. Insert your ATM card and PIN.
  2. Select Other Transactions → Transfer → To Other Bank.
  3. Enter the Bank Code and copied VA number, then press Confirm.
  4. Enter the deposit amount.
  5. Press OK to proceed.
  6. Save your payment receipt as proof.

If you're transferring from a non-CIMB bank, use the Realtime Online method. For deposits over IDR 250 million from non-CIMB banks, use RTGS (1–3 hours) or SKN/LLG (up to 3 business days).

Step 6: Deposit Will Be Processed Immediately

Your deposit transaction will be processed automatically. Your Rupiah balance will appear in your Mobee wallet once the deposit is successful.

What should I do if the deposit hasn't been received after 30 minutes?

  1. Make sure the transaction was successful.
  2. Check that the correct bank account or VA number was used.
  3. If the deposit still hasn't arrived, contact Mobee Customer Support via live chat.

What if I forgot to include the 3-digit unique code when transferring to BCA?

  1. Do not resend the transfer.
